Lingram Helps You Learn a New Language in Context
Lingram is a new app that wants to help you learn a foreign language in a proven way. Instead of a flashcards or other methods, the app is designed to help brush up on new words in context while reading.
To start, just head to a foreign-language site. When you come across a word you don’t know, just translate it with one tap.
You can also add new words to a learning list that you can view later and learn in a short lesson.
Developer Robert Snopov told me that he created the app to help him better learn English. Previously, all of the words he tried to learn were quickly forgotten. But with the app, he was better able to optimize the process and pick up a new language.
Lingram is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
There is a subscription option for $4.99 per month. The Plus membership shows the apps without any advertisements. It also allows you to translate an unlimited amount of words on sites.
