macOS Ventura is Here With Continuity Camera, Stage Manager and More
And Mac users haven’t been left out of the new software party today. You can now download macOS Ventura.
Mac users can now take advantage of Stage Manager that’s similar to the iPad version. On the Mac, the feature automatically organizes open apps and windows so you can concentrate and work and see everything on your device.
You can also group windows together for work own a specific tasks that uses multiple apps.
It also works with Mission Control and Spaces.
Using Continuity Camera, Mac users can harness their iPhone to use as a webcam. The Mac will automatically recognize and use the iPhone when it’s nearby. You’ll also be able to use features like Center Stage, Portrait mode, and Studio Light when on a call.
The Ultra Wide camera on the iPhone power Desk View to show your face and an overhead view of their desk.
When on a FaceTime call, you can start on a Mac and then use Continuity to continues on an iPhone or iPad.
The Messages Mac on app has been redesigned and offers the ability to edit or undo a sent message and more.
Other new features include a redesigned System Settings menu, iCloud Shared Photo Library, Passkeys support in Safari, and and updated Spotlight design.
You can download the software on your Mac by selecting the Apple Menu and then About This Mac. Select Software Update to start the process. The download is large, so expect the entire process to take more than an hour.
