Mushroom Guardian is A Fun, Old-School Platformer Not for the Faint of Heart
The new platformer Mushroom Kingdom is a blast from the past. While on the surface it might look like an easy endless runner, it’s definitely difficult to master - just like old-school games.
In the game, the evil Frog King and his army are trying to steal the magic mushrooms. as the gnome Igory, you’ll need to aim, shoot, jump, roll, and fly to restore the forest. You’ll also be helped by Ziggy, a rabbit vigilante, that can trail the movements of the bad guy.
All told, there are 20 different levels full of great action.
Gamers can also play in an archery mini-game or challenge a friend.
Mushroom Guardian universal is designed for the iPhone, all iPad models, and the Apple TV.
It can be downloaded now on the App Store for $1.99.
Along with some fun and challenging gameplay, the graphics are bright beautiful, and the soundtrack fits in nicely. Give Mushroom Guardian a try if you're looking for classic platformer fun.
