NapBot Uses Machine Learning on iOS 13, watchOS 6 to Better Track Your Sleep

October 9, 2019

Apple’s long-rumored sleep tracking functionality didn’t make an appearance in this year’s Series 5 watch. But if you’re interested in tracking your sleep, the new NapBot app is a great choice.

NapBot - Auto Sleep Tracker

Easily the most unique aspect of the app is that it uses machine learning technology to track your sleep. That means it can continue to learn the more you use the app.

After downloading it to your iPhone and Apple Watch, just wear your watch to bed and the app will automatically begin tracking.

In the morning, head to the iPhone to see a detailed analysis of the night including deep and light sleep phases.

While asleep, the app analyzes the sound levels around you to better understand how that effects sleep quality. NapBot also shows a heart rate summary chart based on different zones during the night.

All of the information is stored and available to view in the Health app.

NapBot can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.

You can subscribe to NapBot Pro for $0.99 per month or $9.99 annually.

That unlocks sleep history and the ability to track sleep trends and see how new habits influence your sleep.
