New All Access app launched for DC Universe fans
Much like its rival Marvel, DC is home to a bevy of properties from various media including comics, films, TV shows, video games, and more. And if you’re a fan of the DC Universe, as the entertainment company’s collective of properties is called, it can be quite difficult to stay up to date on everything that’s going on in the worlds of Batman, Superman and company. DC All Access is an app that brings together the comics, films, TV shows, video games, and more from the DC Universe in an interactive and social experience made specially for fans. As a one-stop app for virtually anything and everything DC, the app offers news, videos, comic previews, and other special features.
News, videos and comic previews
DC All Access provides daily news updates regarding DC’s most popular properties across different DC media, like the “Legends of Tomorrow” and “The Flash” TV series and the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad” films. The app also includes exclusive reveals and episodes of the “DC All Access” Web series. What’s more, it lets you preview stories through a built-in comic book reader.
Fan community features
As an app built specifically for fans, DC All Access includes a number of fan community features. These include challenges, quizzes, polls, giveaways, and integrated interactions such as fan forums and live chats. It also offers deals on DC products, including comics, DVDs, digital downloads, games, collectibles, and more. It also enables purchasing of tickets to DC movies in theaters.
Emoji and sticker keyboard
As a bonus feature, there’s also a custom keyboard bundled with DC All Access. After downloading the app, you can enable the DC All Access keyboard in your device’s Settings app to use it as a normal QWERTY keyboard or as an emoji and sticker keyboard featuring DC characters such as Batman and the members Suicide Squad. You can manage the emoji and sticker packs included in the keyboard through the DC All Access app itself.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 8.0 or later, DC All Access is available now on the App Store for free.
In celebration of its launch, DC All Access is hosting new videos and photos from “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” which is set to hit theaters on March 25, along with a giveaway for tickets to the film’s premiere in New York.
