A New iPad mini is Here With a Full-Screen Design
Apple’s iPad mini has gotten a big makeover. At today’s California Streaming event, Apple unveiled the next generation of the smaller tablet.
The biggest change is the full-screen design with an 8.3-inch display. It’s powered by the A15 Bionic Chip
Just like the iPad Air and iPad Pro, the mini will now use a USB-C port for new connectivity options. A Touch ID button is on top of the tablet.
The second-generation Apple Pencil will attach to the side of the tablet.
Both the front and rear cameras have gotten big upgrades. The front camera will also support Center Stage to keep you in the center of a frame during a video call.
You can order the new iPad mini today and it will arrive in stores starting next Friday, September 24. There are four colors to select from – space gray, pink, purple, and starlight. It will start at $499 for a 64GB model.
