New Official Apple Watch Bands Could be Arriving This Spring
At least through Apple.com and Apple Stores, a number of different Series 2 Apple Watch combinations are currently listed as out of stock. First spotted by MacRumors, that’s a good sign that we could be seeing new official Apple Watch bands sometime this spring.
No new hardware until later this year
A number of Series 2 models, including the Space Gray Aluminum Case with a Black Woven Nylon band, are currently out of stock at Apple's site and Apple Stores.
Currently, a number of different watch options aren’t available through Apple stretching all band types, watch sizes, and price ranges.
Apple has offered new bands for the wearable device in fall 2015 along with both spring and fall last year. Following that same pattern, it makes sense that Apple would unveil new bands soon.
While Apple is likely planning to introduce new watch bands soon, anyone looking forward to new Apple Watch hardware will have to be patient.
The most recent rumors point to some type of new watch models no earlier than this fall, possibly being unveiled at the same time as the next-generation iPhone lineup. Apple is reportedly looking to further increase battery life. No other new features are currently known.
