Perspective Matters When Playing Possessions on Apple Arcade

October 15, 2019

One of the best features of Apple Arcade so far is the wide variety different games available to play. Everything from full-on action games to low-key puzzlers are available to download with just a click.

Any fan of minimalistic puzzlers will definitely want to take a look at Possessions.

Perspective is key when playing all 33 of the different levels. Set in a typical home and multiple rooms, the goal is simple.

To start, different objects appear to be floating in mid-air. You’ll need to rotate around the room in different angles until the specific object looks like it is in the correct spot.

While the first few levels are simple, making progress through the entire game will test your spatial awareness as there are more objects in each room.

And after you finish the first chapter, you’ll also unlock an AR mode on the iPhone or iPad. Instead of rotating the room around on the screen, you’ll have to move the device with you to find the right angle.

While playing, there is also a touching story about the inhabitants of the house and how they deal with life's struggles - all without dialog or text.

Apple Arcade is currently available for devices with iOS 13, iPadOS 13, macOS Catalina, and tvOS 13 installed.

You can try out the service with a one-month free trial. After that, Apple Arcade is $4.99 per month.

A subscription can be shared with up to six other members of your family with Family Sharing.

To subscribe on your iPhone or iPad, open up the App Store tab and then select the Arcade tab.

Select the Try it Free button on the top of the page.
