Procreate Pocket Update Brings a Complete Redesign, Optimization for iPhone X
The iPhone version of the popular Procreate iPad drawing app, Procreate Pocket, has just received a major update to version 2.0.
Rebuilt from the ground up, the updated app is now powered by the same graphics engine of its larger sibling.
With that upgrade, the app can be used to create illustrations with a richer P3 color depth. Artists can also take advantage of 136 different brushes, including new wet painting effects with your finger.
The app now also supports a number of features previously reserved for the iPad including ColorDrop, QuickLine, Layer Masks, and more.
And Procreate Pocket also sports two new exclusive features. A 30-second time-lapse feature drops non-essential frames to create a short video that can be shared on social media. Users can also import and export brushes through online marketplaces or with others.
Developer Savage has also optimized the app specifically for the iPhone X. There are also a number of features that can be used with 3D Touch and provide haptic feedback.
Procreate Pocket is designed for the iPhone and can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99. Procreate for iPad is available for $9.99.
