Professional Camera App Obscura 2 Updated With Native iPad Support

August 10, 2018

Any iPad owner will be happy to hear about the latest update to the power camera app Obscura 2.

Version 1.2, which just landed in the App Store, brings native support for the iPad. The minimalistic UI looks great on the bigger tablet screen.

Originally arriving for the iPhone back in May, offers a number of professional-grade features

The all-new app, a sequel to the original Obscura, can be used with one hand on the iPhone.

Photographers can use the app to capture images in a number of different formats including RAW, HEIC, JPEG, and Live Photo. Anyone with a dual-lens iPhone can also capture Portrait Mode images.

Another great feature is the included filters that can add a new look to your images. Other options include a flash control, grid, shutter timer, and a spirit level.

There are also a number of different filters to select from.

The app is usually $4.99 in the App Store. But for a limited time, you can snag the app for free using the Apple Store app.

After downloading the Apple Store app, select the Discover tab and then scroll down to the bottom. You’ll see a banner to click for the free download.
