Promising ARPG Undecember Launches with a Week-Long Event on PC and Mobile
Following a triumphant global debut at last week’s Steam Next Fest, Undecember is out now on iOS, PC, and Android.
Developed by Needs Games and published by LINE Games, Undecember is one of the most hotly anticipated RPGs of 2022.
This is largely due to the game’s blistering visuals, which sent ripples through the gaming world when Undecember launched in South Korea earlier this year. Since then it has become clear that it has the gameplay to match.
In case you haven’t been keeping up with the news, Undecember is a graphically stunning cross-platform hack-and-slash RPG.
It sees you playing as a Rune Hunter in Traum, a fantasy continent cooked up by 12 benevolent gods.
Before returning to the void amid a conflict with an evil 13th god called Serpens, these gods littered the world with Runes. You’ll use these Runes to fend off the forces of darkness and prevent Serpends from making an unwelcome return.
That’s the basic synopsis, but you’ll need to play the game to get the full story.
We’re just here to tell you about the action. Undecember is a Diablo-inspired RPG that tasks you with cutting a swathe through endless waves of monsters using a vast array of weapons and spells.
The whole thing looks stunning, from the backdrops to the creatures to the spectacular gouts of fire and bursts of crackling magic. Just take a look at the trailer.
But it’s not just a pretty face. Undecember features an innovative classless growth system, which means you can develop your character however you like, without the constraints of class-type.
And your scope for customization is virtually limitless. There are Runes to equip and upgrade, Gear to obtain, and much more.
Undecember’s main story campaign has ten Acts at launch, as well as a host of different challenge modes, including Spire of Barrier, Void Rift, Chaos Dungeon, and PvE Raids.
LINE Games is hosting a launch event, too, allowing you to get your character off to a solid start with daily login rewards and special missions.
To get started, head to the App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam and download Undecember for free right now.
