Remove Unwanted Elements From Photos with Inpaint

August 9, 2018

It’s a problem any photographer experiences when trying to capture that perfect photo. Just when you think everything lines up, something or someone gets in the way. Whether its a gawking tourist or something else, you might think the photo is ruined.

But there’s no need to worry with Inpaint. The great app, long available for macOS, has recently made the move to the App Store.

Instead of needing to have technical experience and an expensive program like Adobe Photosop, Inpaint is easy to use and quick.

To start, just select the photo that needs work. You’ll then select the problem area of the photo and then let the app get to work.

Along with removing people from photos, the app can be used to do other tasks like repair blemishes from old photos, remove watermarks, and more.

The results are surprisingly accurate. I tried out a few different images to delete people and other elements, and they came out looking great. Any level of photographer should be able to make easy use of Inpaint, and it’s highly recommended.

Inpaint is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for $1.99.

The popular photo touchup app from macOS is moving to the iPhone and iPad and allows users to edit images in just a few steps.
