Report: In Battle With Apple Pay, 'SamsungPay Mini' Is Coming to iPhone
Do you have an iPhone but don’t like Apple Pay? Really like Samsung products, but not enough to buy a Samsung Galaxy S7? For these unique folks, Samsung is about to launch “SamsungPay Mini” for both Android and iOS, according to ET News.

According to the report, SamsungPay Mini would allow users to register credit cards through a web-based application and use it to make purchases on third-party sites. The service is expected to launch first in South Korea.
Samsung Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service that first launched in 2015. Unlike other systems, Samsung Pay can accept NFC, chip, and swipe payments using a technology called Magnetic Secure Transmission. Samsung Pay is only available on select Galaxy products.

Apple is largely expected to announce a web-based version of Apple Pay, which should launch before the holiday shopping season. Like SamsungPay Mini, this version of Apple Pay would almost certainly work across multiple platforms including Android.
In other words, it looks like the ongoing Apple versus Samsung battle is set to move in yet another direction.
