Sky: Children of the Light Offers New Player Events to Celebrate its First Anniversary
It’s been a big year for the beautiful game Sky: Children of the Light. Apple named it the 2019 iPhone Game of the Year. And in late June, the game also won an Apple Design Award.

And to celebrate the social game’s first anniversary, developer thatgamecompany has just announced a number of new events.
The highlight is a new adventure. The Season of Sanctuary takes place in new vacation-style islands in the Daylight Prairie Realm. It’s designed to be a resort experience for people who are staying at home playing during the coronavirus pandemic.
You can meet new seasonal characters an find out more about their backstories while also unlocking summer-inspired collectibles.
There will also be a number of anniversary in-game events including a hat gift and birthday festivities and decorations.
Sky: Children of the Light is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
There are a number of in-app purchases available to unlock different adventures and other content.
