Working out is hard enough without having to plan and keep track of your routine on a piece of paper. But SmartGym is a great way to plan the perfect workout for you.
No matter where you workout, the app can come in handy. It can created a full-body or targeted workout that takes into account your skills level and even the equipment you have on hand. For more of a custom option, you can also choose a specific exercise.
And you don’t even need to carry around your iPhone and the Apple Watch app is completely standalone. Use a simple Siri command to start a workouts and even modify the exercise from the watch screen.

With SharePlay improvements in iOS 17, you can now share personalized routines by just brining both devices together while in a specific routine.
For the new iOS 17 StandBy mode, where you can see a full-screen experience when turning your iPhone on its side while charging, you can see a number of new compatible widgets and even Live Activities in full screen during a workout. There are also a number of interactive home screen widgets.
If you want to workout with both an iPhone and Apple Watch you can mirror your current workout session on both devices.
SmartGym is a free download on the App Store now. It’s for the iPhone, all iPad models, and Apple Watch.
A SmartGym Premium plan is required to unlock all of the app’s features. You can subscribe for $9.99 per month.
Subscribers will be able to take advantage of a smart trainer, powered by AI to create personalized workouts for you. You can also access more than 130 workouts created by professionals.
Along with 620 exercises, premium users will also be able to log unlimited routines, track unlimited history, and save unlimited body measurements.
