How to Subscribe to Apple Arcade
Now that iOS 13 has officially arrived on the iPhone, you can subscribe to Apple Arcade with just a few clicks. Once you’ve installed iOS 13 on your iPhone, here’s how to get started.
Head to the Arcade Tab
First, open up the App Store tab and then select the Arcade tab.
Select the Try it Free button on the top of the page. You’ll receive a one-month free trial to begin. After that, the service will cost $4.99 per month. A subscription can be shared with up to six other members of your family with Family Sharing.
Apple Arcade is designed to look like the App Store. There are a number of different categories to explore and articles about the games.
When you’ve found something to download, just hit Get on the game’s page to download it. The game will then appear on your iOS device just like a usual app.
You’ll need to wait until Tuesday, Sept. 24 to play on the iPad when the new iPadOS arrives. The service will hit the Apple TV when tvOS 13 lands later in the month on Monday, Sept. 30.
Games will also be available to play on macOS Catalina, which is slated to arrive in October.
