Test Your Brain and Reflexes in OLDTV

August 15, 2018

Used in psychology, the Stroop Test is designed to test your reaction time. While it might sound easy, it's anything but. You are tasked with saying the name of a color in a certain color of ink. Almost 100 years of testing has shown that it's more difficult to say the color when it's printed in a different hue. And that effect is put to the test in the new game OLDTV.

The popular Steam game makes a great fit for iOS devices as the premise is simple.

You're a genius child sitting in front of a screen switching through every channel on the planet. And to do so, you'll need to identify if the color name and hue match up or if they don't.

If they don't, you'll tap the left-hand side of the screen. If they do, hit the right part of the screen.

The more you progress, you can unlock achievements and advance through the different levels.

Along with a great soundtrack, the visual design of the game evokes an old-school TV with visual glitches and more. As a nice touch, those can be turned off if you'd like.

OLDTV is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.

While you can lean how to play in just a few seconds, the game definitely tests your brain and will keep you coming back to see how far you can advance. Definitely give it a try and see how your reaction time stacks up.

The popular Steam game has made its way to the App Store featuring a simple concept that will keep you on your toes.
