WWDC wrap-up
There was a lot to love at this week’s WWDC in San Francisco, California. There was also a few things that left us shaking our heads. Nonetheless, it was an exciting week that makes us wish September was already here so that we could experience iOS 10 and macOS 10.12 on new devices.
Some highlights from WWDC:
All about iOS 10
Not surprisingly, iOS 10 took a prominent place during the WWDC keynote. The next-generation OS for iPhone and iPad features plenty of new goodies including enhanced Music and News apps, refreshed Notification Center screens, and more.
Rewind:
Experience the keynote
For those who missed Monday’s big event or wish to experience it again, Apple has posted the entire keynote address on YouTube. Enjoy!
On the App Store
Thanks to WWDC, it was a relatively quiet week on the app news front. Perhaps the biggest news was that AppLovin contest winner Dungeon Tiles is coming to both iOS and tvOS. The strategy games arrives on June 29.
As we noted, in Dungeon Titles players swipe the screen to move the tiles in the same direction with a goal of combining tiles of the same color to score. Tiles include swords, dragons, lives, and gold and the cumulative total for matches will display. Swords reduce the dragon score and dragons reduce the lives score. To improve your level, raise the experience bar by slaying dragons.
