The Deckbuilding Roguelike Fun Continues in Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale

September 2, 2020

The world of a unique card-based dungeon crawler is getting bigger with the arrival of Meteorfall: Krumit's Tale.

Meteorfall: Krumit's Tale

A sequel to the 2018 original, the new game brings more of the same fun deckbuilding action with some great improvements.

All five heroes from the original return in the sequel. Bruno, Greybeard, Mischief, Muldorf, and Rose each have their own cards and a specific style of play.

Each run while playing is different. The journey is made from a number of unique enemies, dungeons, perks, and cards.

A great improvement from the original is that the swipe mechanic has been expanded into a grid-based system. That tweak helps add depth and longevity to the game.

To keep you coming back, there is a daily challenge mode with a different set of rules that tweak the game in interesting ways.

As another nice plus, the game can be played without an Internet connection. And thanks to iCloud support, you can pick up and play right where you left off on another device.

Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for $6.99.
