The Stillness of the Wind is a decidedly different take on what a game is.
The premise of the game is simple. You’ll be playing as Talma, an elderly goat farmer.
In her final days, she’ll be tending to her crops and taking care of the animals. Along with making cheese from goat milk, she will need to collect eggs, cook meals, and grow vegetables.
She’ll also receive disturbing letters from family in the city from the traveling merchant.
While that may sound simple, the bittersweet game explores a number of different and serious themes like nostalgia and loss.
The sparse visual style helps players focus on the task and hand better experience Talma’s life.
