Sad days for Jawbone
It looks like Jawbone is on life support. Over the Memorial Day weekend, Tech Insider reported that the company has stopped making its UP fitness trackers and sold its remaining inventory to a third-party reseller. Additionally, Jawbone is expected to get out of the speaker business.
This unconfirmed news comes just weeks after we suggested that Apple should purchase Jawbone mainly for its health tracking capabilities.
The Zenbo robot is set to arrive
The first must-have gift of the 2016 holiday season was unveiled on Monday. The voice-controlled $599 Zenbo robot launches later this year. Where can we sign up?
The Kindle Oasis is a hit
It looks like Amazon has another winning Kindle on its hands. The Kindle Oasis, which launched in April, is flying off the virtual shelves despite its steep price tag.
Priced at $289.99 and higher, the Kindle Oasis is sold out on Amazon.com through at least mid-July. Some models aren’t available until October.
