There's No Need to Worry About Charging the Matrix PowerWatch
You won’t need a charging cable, battery, or anything else to power the Matrix PowerWatch. Currently seeking funding on Indiegogo, the smartwatch is powered by body heat.
More power
All of the information gathered by the smartwatch can also be accessed through the companion iOS app.
The same technology powering the watch is also used to track calories burned and show power generated by the body. The watch only runs when you are wearing it. When taking the watch off, all data is stored in memory and placed into a sleep mode.
Along with calories burned, the watch can also be used to track sleep and the number of steps you walk per day.
It also wireless syncs with a companion iOS app that allows users to view health data and changes their watch face.
The watch itself is made with aircraft-grade aluminum and is water resistant up to 50 meters. It comes with a black nylon band.
Pledge now
Right now, for an early bird pledge of $99, you can reserve a PowerWatch and nylon strap. It’s estimated to retail for $169 when it hits the market.
You will need to patient if making a pledge. The watches are estimated to arrive in July 2017. As always, there are inherent risks in pledging to a crowdfunding campaign.
