Things 3 Update Brings Siri Shortcuts for iOS 12, Siri Watch Face Support in watchOS 5
The great to-do app Things 3 has just received a nice update taking advantage of new iOS 12 and watchOS 5 features.
Ready for Apple Watch Series 4
On the Apple Watch, the app offers four new complications for the Series 4 arriving later this week.
Version 3.7 of the app offers full Siri Shortcuts support for iOS 12 devices. That opens up a number of different avenues for users.
Along with being able to create multi-step tasks using Apple’s new Shortcuts app, you can add tasks and much more to the app with just a Siri command.
Another great new feature in the update is dynamic notifications. You can select the duration of a snooze when receiving a notification – 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or an hour.
The app also supports the Password AutoFill feature in iOS 12. You can create a strong password that’s stored securely and will automatically be entered when using the app on a new device.
Anyone with an iPhone can now also use the app in landscape mode.
And Apple Watch users aren’t being left out of the update. You can now view a Things card on the Siri watch face, and Apple Watch Series 4 wearers can take advantage of for new complications for the Infograph watch faces.
Things 3 is designed for the iPhone. It can be downloaded for $9.99. There is also a separate version available for iPad that costs $19.99 on the App Store.
