Third-Party Browser Brave Adds New Privacy Hub
The Safari alternative browser Brave has just added a new Privacy Hub and more with a recent update.
In the Privacy Hub, you can take a better look at what the browser blocked and how your personal information is protected. It will keep track of how many trackers Brave blocked on a specific site or in a specific time frame.
The section will also help you understand about trackers and other privacy threats.
Another improvement in version 1.38 is better protection against fingerprinting. That’s a way a site ID users. But to protect against that, Brave will ass small amounts of randomization to fingerprintable APIs that will disable them.
Finally, the app is adding a certificate viewer so you can see any site’s security certificate. That can help you confirm that you are looking at a real version of the site instead of a fake copy.
Brave is for the iPhone and iPad and can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
