Time Princess: Story Traveler Is Getting a Collaboration Event with The Louvre Museum
Time Princess: Story Traveler, the unique historical adventure game from IGG, is collaborating with the legendary Louvre Museum in Paris for its latest in-game event.
The Louvre, of course, is one of the best-known and most visited museums in the world. Opened to the public in the late 18th century, the Louvre is home to countless cultural treasures, including Venus do Milo and Mona Lisa.
Time Princess: Story Traveler, meanwhile, is an innovative, informative, and stunningly presented 3D dress-up game that sees you time-traveling via storybooks to various historical periods and having adventures with the people you meet.
These adventures take place in both past and present, and they all contain multiple endings, allowing you to choose how they end. There’s a clever Goodwill system, too, which gives you access to additional characters and side stories.
As well as interacting with characters and navigating plotlines, you’ll also get to try on clothes and jewelry, making good use of the various historical artifacts that you encounter on your travels.
And that’s where this historic partnership comes in. For the first time ever the Louvre is collaborating with a video game studio to bring the museum’s treasures into the interactive digital age.
Time Princess x Louvre Museum is a brand new storyline featuring the Louvre’s “big three” exhibits: Venus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace, and Mona Lisa).
This chapter of the Time Princess saga sees you meeting up with your friends at a virtual Louvre to learn about these treasures. You are able to break through the barrier of time and interact with the historical women, and as you converse with them you can help fulfil their wishes – and become immersed in the world and beauty of art as a result.
You’ll also be able to dress-up of course, wearing clothes and accessories inspired by the same three exhibits. And all the while you’ll be able to enjoy music created especially for the event by Grammy-winning composer Wu Tong.
Naturally, there will also be puzzles to solve, quiz questions to answer, a special Blind Box to open, and a special Louvre Treasure hunt where you can search for artifacts to get rewards.
