Track Your Climbing and Boulder Sessions Automatically With Redpoint

Anyone who enjoys climbing should look at the great app Redpoint.

The app can automatically track your climbing and bouldering sessions. It works for a wide variety of climbing types.

With an Apple Watch, the app will use machine learning to classify climbing movements. It also uses the watch’s built-in barometer to measure ascended routes. You can also see the difficulty of ascended routes on the watch app.

Along with the Apple Watch, the iPhone version of the app can provide even more detailed information including overall height, heart rate, and much more. All of that information is sent to Apple’s Health app. So you can easily close your daily rings with a climbing session.

To become an event better climber, the app will provides personalized training suggestions based on previous workouts.

Redpoint is designed for the iPhone and Apple Watch. It’s a free download on the App Store.

To use the features, you’ll need a subscription. Two options are available, $29.99 per year or $10.99 for a three-month option.
