Trailer for Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow Lets You See Into the Future

The trailer for Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow doesn’t show much of the gameplay, but we can tell what it’s all about. This is decidedly a city-building game, where you’re rebuilding New New York. That’s not all there is to it, though. You can also enjoy some space shooter segments, along with RPG-style battles and narrative elements. We can see at least one scene where you, as Fry, get to enjoy a choose-your-own-adventure option against an evil invader with thoughts of taking over everything.

If more is what you want, Android Gameplay Uploader has a trailer of Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow (probably in violation of their non-disclosure agreement, but that’s not my problem) that shows the game in action on an Android device. You can see Fry kicking things off, getting the crew out of suspended animation and beginning to rebuild New New York.

You’ll also see that Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow uses several forms of in-game currency, including Nixonbucks and, of course, pizza. I have to assume the developers will be including in-app purchases to speed your game along, but I don’t know what those will cost yet.

You’ll unlock and finish goals, much like in other games of this type. Some of the RPG-style battles take place within New New York, but you’ll also duke it out on board spacecraft including the USS Planet Express and on alien worlds.
