Twitter Testing Feature to Tweet With Your Voice
Twitter has just announced that it is testing a new feature on its iOS app that will allow users to tweet with your voice.
To record a tweet, select the tweet composer and select the wavelengths icon. You will then see your profile photo with a record button. Select that to record your voice.
Each tweet can capture up to 140 seconds of audio. Once you reach that time limit, a new voice tweet will create a thread. When complete, hit Done.
On the official Twitter app, select the image to hear the tweet. It will start in a new window on the bottom of the timeline. You can scroll your timeline or use other apps while listening.
The feature will at first be limited to a small number of users. But Twitter says that voice tweeting will be rolled out to all iOS users “in the coming weeks.”
