Use Peak to Create Your Own Fitness Dashboard

July 10, 2023

Improving your fitness routine is one of the best reasons to buy an Apple Watch.

With the combination of hardware and software, the wearable device captures a myriad of data about your workouts and much more.

The new app Peak helps you create a custom fitness dashboard with the information that matters to you the most.

To begin with the app, you can choose the metrics you want and then the blocks for that information.

Six different blocks are included, developer Harshil Shah describes each one in a blog post:

Recents: Your stats for the last week
Charts: Simple Day/Week/Month/Year charts
Totals: Aggregate stats for the current and past week, month, and year
Trends: See how your progress this week, month, or quarter compares to the last four
Overview: This block is only available for workouts. It lets you see all your stats for the current week, month, or year, and quickly filter them down to view the stats for a single workout type
And of course, goals

Since goals are so important on a fitness journey, you can make any number of goals you’d like for all of the metrics. You can also choose from two goal types. With show up goals, you’ll set a daily goals and how often you’d like to accomplish it. That’s designed for building new habits.

With build goals, you’ll set an overall goal for a week, month, or year. That’s perfect for maintaining a goal.

For even more customization, you can choose from a wide variety of different themes for the app.

Even without opening up the app, you can always keep track of your progress with both homescreen and lock screen widgets.

Peak is a free download now on the App Store for the iPhone.

There is an optional Peak Pro subscription for $1.49 per month or $9.99 yearly. Subscribers will unlock a number of additional features.

Those include unlimited metrics and blocks of data to see in the app, all of the available themes and icons, and homescreen and lock screen widgets.
