Use Wayther to Help Check the Weather on Your Road Trip

But the new app Wayther helps you always be aware of the weather on the road. The app provides an accurate forecast along your route depending on departure or arrival time and is designed to help show you when bad weather might hit.

And there’s no reason to wait until the day of your trip to use the app as you can start checking the weather conditions up to 10 days in advance.

Using the app is quick and easy. To begin, you enter a starting point and destination. You can then pick a route from up to three options. Finally, you select a departure or arrival date to fit your schedule and preferences.

Wayther will then provide a detailed forecast at various points along the route. All that info is showing as an interactive map with a trip overview and detailed timeline.

The timeline will show information like temperature, precipitation, wind, visibility, and sunrise/sunset times.

Wayther is only for the iPhone. It’s a free download now on the App Store. The first three trips are completely free. After that, you’ll need a subscription. There are three options available.
