The goal of Heartbreak: Valentine's Day is to shoot and burst open as many hearts as you can. Your bow is fixed in place, and the heart-shaped balloons float back and forth across the screen. Time is definitely not of the essence here, so take your time and make sure your aim is true. You want to pop open as many hearts as you can, so your Love Meter and score climb ever higher. The lowest level on the Love Meter is pretty embarrassing, telling you things are not that great. If you score high enough, Heartbreak will tell you you're like French fries - you go great with anything. How high can you score?
Customize your arrows
You start out the game with simple arrows, but that's not where it ends. You earn coins along the way, and can use those coins to unlock new types of arrows. Do you want bombs, fists, or something even more powerful? Keep playing, and remember to check back to the home screen every five minutes or so for your gift box of coinage. You can customize what you're shooting to reflect just how angry or frustrated you are with the game of love, and how much damage you want to inflict on those irritating hearts that keep taunting you as they float back and forth above you.

Heartbreak: Valentine's Day is a great game, and it's absolutely free to play. You don't have to use in-app purchases, and in fact can't use them to buy coins. You can watch videos to earn coins, though, and the game does have banner ads along with advertisement videos that pop up periodically between games. Want to get rid of them altogether and have an ad-free experience? Just a single in-app purchase will unlock the ad-free version of Heartbreak: Valentine's Day. If you don't want to have to pause between games to watch videos, this is a small price to pay.
If you enjoy casual games and hate Valentine’s Day, this game is a great way to spend the time that other’s are worrying about what they’re going to buy their loved ones or where they’re going to get last-minute restaurant reservations. Heck, if you’re sitting in the front lobby of a restaurant, stewing that you forgot to make reservations and now you have to wait for an hour for a table, this might be a cute way to spend that time.
