Virtually Explore and Learn About the World in GeoGeek AR
When most of us hear the word geography, we probably have visions of staring at a textbook trying to learn a subject not exactly known for being interesting and exciting.
But the new app GeoGeek AR wants to make geography more interesting with augmented reality.
In the app, there are three levels of difficulty to test your geography knowledge from various fields.
AR will place earth as a 3D model wherever you are. You can select from eight games modes to either mark a county on the globe, recognize and name a location, or place a pin as accurately as possible on a list of searched cities.
There is also an option to choose from multiple-choice answers.
Some of the challenges includes oceans, countries, capitals, and much more.
GeoGeek AR is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It’s a free download on the App Store.
There are a wide variety of in-app purchases to unlock different categories like U.S. state flags and much more.
