Weather Strip Adds Air Quality Forecasts in New Update
The unique weather app Weather Strip has just added an important metric in its most recent update.
You can now view air quality forecasts. You can see either a description like “good” or the specific AQI score. That can help anyone decide whether they want to go outside depending on the quality of the air.
Other changes in version 1.6 include a new option to reverse wind arrow graphic and improved popups for temperature, humidity, and wind. Sustained wind and gust speed are now also shown in the timeline legend.
Originally launching last year, Weather Strip was named on of AppAdvice’s Best Apps of 2021. It showcases the weather in beautiful a week-long hourly view.
Weather Strip is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It’s a free download on the App Store.
After a free, 14-day trial trial, you’ll need a subscription to use the app. There are two different options.
A Basic option, only available in the United States, is $1.99 per month or $8.99 yearly. That provides US-only forecasts that are updated every six to 12 hours.
Premium is $3.99 monthly or $16.99 per year. Along with global forecasts update every hour, you can use home screen widgets to find the weather at a glance.
