Who You Gonna Call? Ghostbuster World Arrives With AR Gameplay, Turn-Based Battles
Something strange is coming to the App Store neighborhood. And it’s time to call the Ghostbusters.
The new game Ghostbusters World brings Pokémon Go-like fun with some twists.
Easily the best feature of the game is the ability to head out the door and capture different ghosts in the real-world using thanks to Apple’s ARKit technology. There are hundreds of different ghosts you can capture including some favorites from the franchise like Slimer and many others.
And when it’s time to battle bosses like the Stay Put Marshmallow Man, you can team up with up to four other nearby players in a co-op raid.
The single-player story campaign in the game was written by the same team behind the popular IDW comic book series.
Unlike other similar games, Ghostbusters World also features asynchronous PVP team battles. Players can assemble and then upgrade their own ghost squad.
Ghostbusters World is designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
