WWDC 2017: watchOS 4 Brings Updates and New Faces to Apple Watch

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) began with a keynote today, June 5, and soon after came a presentation for an updated watchOS. So, what can we expect in the next version? Read on for all the details.

New faces will include a Siri Watch face, a Kaleidoscope face, and to go with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be your favorite “Toy Story” character faces.

The Activity app will receive updates with some flair for celebrating your milestones. A more powerful Workout feature with High Intensity Interval Training and multiple workouts in a single session will be added. And, gym equipment integrations for incline and speed data will transfer to the Watch

There will also be a redesigned Music app on the Apple Watch. With playlist images and album art, you will use the digital crown to move through them easily.

Other Updates Include:

  • New flashlight in Control Center
  • Native core Bluetooth
  • Updated Apple Watch dock
