Zoom, ExpressVPN Land on the Apple TV
Two new Apple TV apps have arrived using features unlocked by the tvOS 17 update that landed in September.
Zoom
The new Zoom app requires Continuity Camera from a compatible iPhone or iPad. You can use those devices as your camera and microphone and then see others on the big screen.
You can start Zoom meetings directly on your device. It’s also easy to access your contacts on the bigs screen and invite others via phone, email, or Zoom contacts.
On the Apple TV, you can also view the in-meeting chat and even be designed to a breakout room.
Zoom – for Home TV is a free download now on the App Store. It’s only for the Apple TV. The app requires the second-generation Apple TV 4K or later
ExpressVPN
tvOS 17 also ushered in the ability to use VPN app. And popular choice ExpressVPN is now available to use on the Apple TV.
After downloading the app on the your Apple TV, you can connect to a servers in any of 105 countries around the world. You can sign by scanning a QR code or enter account details with the Siri Remote.
ExpressVPN is a free download on the App Store now. It’s universal for the Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad. After a free seven-day trial, you will need a subscription to use the service on your devices.
