Foodspotting 4.0 Introduces Food Camera To Help You Take Mouthwatering Photos

June 27, 2013
Foodspotting, the leading food-photo sharing app (bar Instagram, that is), has just received its 4.0 update, which marks the arrival of a new feature called Food Camera. Here's the Foodspotting team's raison d'être for Food Camera:
There are many joys of food photography, and our new Food Camera was designed to make spotting your food faster, easier and more joyful for everyone. We're glad you love Foodspotting and want your fellow diners to love it too, so we hope the new Food Camera will equip you to spend less time shooting food and more time enjoying being a Foodspotter!
With Food Camera in Foodspotting 4.0, you can now take and compare multiple photos of a dish, or choose multiple photos from the gallery for comparison. While comparing photos, you can zoom and tap to find the best one. Also, with Food Camera, you can now tap with one finger to set and lock focus, or with two fingers to set and lock focus and exposure independent of each other. Those are the core features available in Food Camera's initial version. But it's already set to gain food-focused filters and other enhancements through Foodspotting's future updates. Foodspotting 4.0 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.1 or later. Foodspotting was launched in January 2010 and acquired by OpenTable in January of this year. A popular app for finding and rating dishes rather than just restaurants, Foodspotting is included in AppAdvice's Local Advice Apps AppGuide. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
