VSCO Cam 3.0 Features Integration With VSCO Grid And Other Enhancements

February 12, 2014
Visual Supply Company has just updated its flagship app, the acclaimed camera and photo-editing app VSCO Cam, to version 3.0. Most notably, VSCO Cam 3.0 features native integration with VSCO Grid, the eponymous company's free photo-publishing platform. Consequently, VSCO Cam now lets you find and follow other VSCO photographers from around the world. And of course, it now lets you view the VSCO Grid, which is a curated collection of great images. But don't expect VSCO Cam to become the next Instagram, thank you very much. "Beautiful imagery trumps social clout," Visual Supply Company says of VSCO Grid, "therefore number of followers, comments and likes are absent from the platform." If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. VSCO Cam 3.0 also includes the following enhancements:
  • New Level & Tilt in Camera ensures your photos are always straight
  • Order Presets alphabetically with one click
  • Image Detail supports Pinch to Zoom
  • Improved Crop Tool for a smoother, more accurate experience
  • iPhone 4 now displays Preset preview thumbnails
  • Updated UI/UX
  • Improved Share functionality
  • iPhone 4s responsiveness greatly improved
  • Accuracy adjustments to Temperature Tool
  • Updated location and privacy settings
  • Various bug fixes and performance enhancements
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, VSCO Cam 3.0 is available now in the App Store for free. Released in June last year, VSCO Cam was hailed as an AppAdvice App of the Week and as the AppAdvice Free iPhone App of 2013. Additionally, it was honored by Apple as the App Store's App of the Year Runner-Up. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
