What is it about?
Afterlight allows you to have the control you need to properly edit your photographs, in a simple and easy-to-use interface. The controls you need are all lined up at the bottom of the screen in tabs, and there are plenty of them to choose from.

Why we love it
Afterlight has plenty of tools and filters, but the developers aren't just sitting back on their laurels and letting you pay them money for nothing. They are hard at work adding new features. One update made it easier to start your project, by allowing you to swipe quickly up on the Home screen to make your library view full screen. That same update also brought in four new filters. Dubbed Amber, Beryl, Onyx, and Pearl, you can find them at the far end of the Original filters list. After you're finished modifying your photo, you want to get it out for people to enjoy. You can choose a file size, then save it either as a new image or replace the original. You can also save to Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. There's even an option to order a mosaic photo book using a separate app. If that's not enough, you can use any of the Share Sheet extensions to send your image to others.
