Aphasia: Start Speaking Again

by Frederick Weiner

What is it about?

This program uses speech recognition. You will see four images on the left and four colored boxes on the right. Your job is to move the images to the right by saying the name of the image and the color of the box like: 'Move book to the purple square', 'Put book on the purple square', or 'book - purple'. Before you speak, tap the green microphone icon so that it starts to blink and then start speaking. If you are not happy with the speech you said, tap the 'X' and then tap the microphone icon again to speak. When you are done speaking, tap the microphone icon again to evaluate your speech. After you have moved four images, tap the Continue button to see another four images or tap the Exit button to end the lesson.
