Greetings Warriors of the U.S. Army! This is app is first a workout companion. We call out the exercise and cadence, you perform the reps (too easy!). Second this app is to teach you how the new Army PRT system works with in depth reference. This app is targeted to the seasoned NCO that needs to learn the new system and the young Specialist bucking to go to WLC.

In March of 2010 the Army finally released TC 3-22.20 the long awaited revision to FM 21-20. Although badly needed we were little prepared for the massive overhaul of the old PT system. We've got a host of new exercises to learn, cadence structures, and a the new philosophies of Progressive Readiness.

Learn each of the new exercises with pictures and descriptions from the text. Once you have a good grasp of the mechanics you can jump into the exercise drills. We'll call the exercise and count the cadence for you. After you have the individual drills down you'll be ready to take on our full workout sessions.

Note, the workout sessions are designed from TC 3-22.20. We don't know your readiness or fitness level so participate at your own risk. Reference Chapter 5 of TC 3-22.20 for a detailed guide on how to plan workout sessions with the new model.

*140 page Pocket PT Manual produced by GoArmy.com

*Pushup Force Calculator tells you how many pounds you lift as you perform repetitions of pushups. Also comes with a comparison tool so you can compare yourself with other troops of different heights and weights during the APFT

*APFT time calculator tells you how long your PT test will take given a number of Soldiers, graders and a set time for each event. Fully customizable incase you do/don't have walkers or you skip the rest period between sit-ups and the run.

Good luck, (Drink Water!)
