CalTasks is arguably the easiest way to create a task/event into your Google Calendar

Do you often use the "Quick Add" feature in Google Calendar?

Sign in with your google account.
Type a task and tap create, Boom your task is created on Google calendar.

You can type any complex natural language task like,

1) Buy flowers for Girlfriend today evening at 7 pm.
2) Meet Mr.X regarding the project proposal on Oct 15th
3) Fix the broken pipe next week saturday.

The intelligent parsers automagically creates and event and alerts you. The app by default sets 2 reminders, one at 15 minutes before the event and another at 2hrs before the event. You can however change it from the settings.
