AppFresh Daily – The Very Best Apps From The Last 24 Hours
October 6, 2010
Boom! Today, another thousand new apps arrived in the App Store. Let me break it to you, most of them are really bad. Yet, there are a few somewhat interesting ones. Here they are:
Instagram (iPhone) "is an amazingly fun & simple life-sharing app for your iPhone. Snap photos wherever you go to show the world what’s going on in your life. Follow your friends’ photo updates as they move through the world. Select from photo filters that transform regular ol’ photos into works of art you’ll want to keep around forever."
It's free.
Tectonic (iPad) allows you to watch "Latest earthquakes or seismic events on a 3D interactive globe. Displays tectonic plates."
It's free.
Tweet Library (iPad) is an "advanced Twitter app with archiving, collections, and filters. If you have ever wished that you could find an old tweet after it fell out of the Twitter search index."
It's expensive, but I'm hearing some great things about it.
It goes for $9.99.
3D Camera qlulu (iPhone) "is an iPhone app that allow you to create 3D and Panorama Contents on your iPhone and share them with others." [sic]
It's free.
CalTasks (iPhone) is "arguably the easiest way to create a task/event into your Google Calendar.
You can type any complex natural language task like,
1) Buy flowers for Girlfriend today evening at 7 pm.
2) Meet Mr.X regarding the project proposal on Oct 15th
3) Fix the broken pipe next week saturday.
The intelligent parsers automagically creates and event and alerts you." [sic]
It's free.
That's it for today. Did we miss anything? Tell us in the comments!
