Action-packed brawling. Dan the Man is an arcade brawler with platforming elements thrown into the mix. Control Dan (or Josie, or a variety of other characters) as you make your way through the village and eliminate the threat. Prepare for epic brawls with the king's forces and save the little guy! Controls let you do basic movements, as well as mêlée and ranged attacks with a variety of weapons.
Plenty of content. Dan the Man has a ton of content to play through, including the basic Story mode and weekly events and daily missions. The levels are rather lengthy, so you get a nice, hefty reward for making it to the end.
Upgrade your character. As you gather money in the game, spend them on items to heal up, new weapons for your arsenal, or boost your character's capabilities.

Dan the Man (Free) by Halfbrick Studios is an old-school style arcade platformer game that is packed with a ton of beat-em-up action. If you enjoyed tiles like Beatdown (http://appadvice.com/appnn/2012/11/quickadvice-beatdown), but wish that there were some platformer action thrown into the mix, then you should give Dan the Man a try.
Why we love it
Dan the Man is a nice homage to arcade games, and it is a ton of fun to play, despite some flaws with the controls. Plus, there is a lot of content that is accessible without ever paying a dime, but you do get some nice bonuses if you do spend a few bucks.
