Wikipanion Brings Things Into Focus For iPhone 4 With Hi-Res Images

July 2, 2010

Not the biggest update in the world, but the latest versions of Wikipanion and Wikipanion Plus bring some bug fixes and noticeably higher quality images for us iPhone 4 ladies and gents. Whether you're looking up a beautiful landmark or maybe your favorite hot actress or actor, you'll now be able to appreciate the looks even more. Some great Wikipanion features include a table of contents browser that knows where you are in the page, Google searching, full text Wikipedia search, dual language searching, language switching, bookmarks, history grouped by last visit date, Wiktionary dictionary term looking without leaving the current page, table based category browsing, interactive font resizing, image saving to the Photo library, easy automatic focusing of the search field on launch, Ogg vorbis audio playback for dictionary pronunciations and other audio content available on Wikipedia. Wikipanion continues to be my favorite Wiki app, despite the official Wikipedia Mobile being released. Seems faster, has plenty more features and landscape viewing. Anyone else have a huge research obsession and look to Wikipanion to find out about some crazy stuff?
