Riptide Games has released their latest iLook iOS app as promised. Feel like the ultimate scourge of the sea, as iArrPirate is here to get you outfitted in the best plundering attire. In celebration of Talk Like a Pirate Day, September 19th, Riptide Games has put together a contest to see who can be the most outstanding pillager of them all, with a grand prize of a $50 iTunes gift card.
iArrPirate lets you take a photo or use one from your Camera Roll to transform yourself into a pirate, those cut-throat looters of the open waters. Customize yourself, your friends, your family, or even your pet with scraggly hairdos, facial hair, gold necklaces, tattered sleeve shirt, earrings, sword, and pirate hat, of course. What's a pirate without his trusty parrot? That's right, iArrPirate even provides the option to include either a red or blue version of the talkative feather-duster.
As with the others, iArrPirate includes Facebook integration, so you can prove to your friends that you're not a yellow bellied sea-dog. In conjunction with the contest, and just a nice perk, iArrPirate offers Twitter integration. The app includes about a dozen phrases, in case you don't speak pirate.
