Gameloft Teases Dungeon Hunter 2 And Star Battalion

In Gameloft's 9th episode of their video podcast, the company outlined a handful of very recently released and upcoming iOS games. You already got a glimpse of the the Modern Combat sequel, Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus, but Gameloft will be releasing another sequel, Dungeon Hunter 2, and a new sci-fi 3D flight shooter titled Star Battalion.
Not too much was divulged in the podcast, but what was mentioned is that Dungeon Hunter 2 will contain some sort of multiplayer capability and a "longer and more varied experience." Perhaps a longer campaign? Maybe more characters? Nothing is clear quite yet. From previous hints, it looks that there will be online multiplayer via Apple's iOS 4.1 Game Center, but nothing is official thus far.
Star Battalion appears to be some sort of Star Fox and Star Wars mashup. The game's storyline revolves around fighting back against an evil dictatorship. You'll pilot a number of different space fighters from a third-person perspective, using a number of different weapons, across a handful of different environments. The game will utilize the gyroscope and Retina display when played on an iPhone 4 or fourth generation iPod touch, and will feature both Wi-Fi and Blutooth local and online multiplayer features.
