SoundHound Updated: Speedy Music Tagging Just Got Better

If you own an iPhone, then the chances are you're bopping around with a version of Shazam on your handset, tagging music as you go. I love Shazam; even though it's not an iOS only application. It was the app I was most moved to show off when I first got my old iPhone 3G. However, when it comes to the field of music tagging apps, there is an alternative. It's called SoundHound, and it isn't half bad.
Just like Shazam, SoundHound is available in a free and paid version. In both versions, users get a universal app packed with a variety of really cool features. And, what's more: SoundHound has just been updated.
The application, which promises to tag your music in "as little as four seconds," can now do a whole lot more. Version 3.4 of SoundHound brings users iTunes links, improved UI, location IDs for each track you tag, and an updated miniplayer. And, as SoundHound is a universal app, iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad owners can all enjoy these new features.
So, what are you waiting for? If you already own SoundHound, download this latest update and let us know what you think of it. And, if you don't own this clever music tagging app, why not check it out (paid/free) in the App Store?
