Aqueduct Joins The Game Center Crowd, Plus A Few Other Extras
November 17, 2010
Kieffer Bros continues to improve its puzzle game of liquidity goodness, Aqueduct, with the addition of Game Center integration, plus a few more improvements.
A few months back, the first update provided native iPad support, included new levels, and upped the visual spectrum with Retina display quality graphics.
Today, Aqueduct v1.2 adds eight Game Center achievements, that are earned when completing all of the puzzles in a chapter, and worth a total of 300 points. The latest release furthermore includes six new music tracks, continued performance optimization, and some tiny bug fixes.
Aqueduct is a wonderfully crafted jumble of piping that takes all of your creative mind to put them back together and restore the flow of water. Given a slate of obstacles, straight pipes, corner pipes, T-sections, and cross-junctions, your mission is to restore the flow of water from the faucet(s) to the drain(s).
To play, just use your finger to move around the different pipe pieces, spacer blocks, and bridge sections to properly reconnect the maze of pipes; then you can open the faucet and watch your success literally go down the drain. The addition of tricky conveyor belts, warp holes, locked doors, and bridge components give this title depth and some extra head scratching.
Aqueduct is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch running iOS 3.0 or later. Game Center support is only available in iOS 4.1 or later. Aqueduct is available in the App Store for $2.99.
