Gotham Reader: Race Through Your Google Reader Feeds

February 23, 2011
Gotham Reader is a new iOS application that allows users to race through their Google Reader feeds, quickly and effortlessly. The app displays the content of articles on screen, flashing one or two words at a time (at a speed users can control). Before, or after reading an article, users can decide whether they want to keep the post, trash it, or read it later. A Google Chrome extension allows users to access saved posts online, print out posts, or search through items they've read via Gotham Reader. Furthermore, the app - which is currently in its beta stage of development - will soon feature a "send to Kindle" feature, too. Currently, the application is available to download for free in the App Store. You need to be running iOS 4.1 or later, and have a Google Reader account (which is free to sign up for). If you want to save items to be read later, you'll also need to be using Google Chrome. Take a look at Gotham Reader, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
